FAQS:

My practice is located at 2814 Bill Owens Parkway, Suite 200.
It is a grey building with a big Amy Frith Insurance sign on the front of the building. Suite 200 is on the side, and it is the door closest to the black mailbox hanging on the side of the building.

I do not have set hours; however, most appointments are scheduled between 10 and 4. I do offer a limited number of after-hours appointments. However, those fill up extremely quickly. I will offer an early morning session on a rare occasion, so don’t hesitate to inquire about your particular needs to accommodate work or school commitments.
-
Sessions tend to last between 45-50 minutes. I do extend the option for longer sessions when working with a family. Younger children may not be able to participate in a 45-minute session immediately, and so sometimes I end up working with and talking with the guardians to round out the appointment.
-
My current rate for 2025 is $100 for individual counseling and $260 for family counseling. I provide one-on-one parent coaching sessions at various price points (please inquire about your specific pricing needs).
I do have a limited number of sliding scale spots, so feel free to inquire about the availability of one of those if you are in need.
-
The short answer is no, I don’t take insuranance.
The longer answer is that I believe that insurance can prevent you from receiving the therapeutic experience that you deserve, AND it does not protect your privacy like private pay therapy does. Because I understand the financial obligations that therapy can require, I am always willing to work with you individually to formulate a solution that is not cost-prohibitive or detrimental to your family.
I am also happy to provide a superbill you may submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Be sure to check with your insurance provider about your out-of-network benefits and get directions on submitting those claims.

Until I can train the dogs to answer the phone and take messages, your best bet is to be sure to leave a message with your contact information. I’m likely in session with a client when you call, and if you leave your contact information and request, I’ll be in touch with you as soon as I can and within 24 hours.

Unlike Legos, I do not have an age limit!
With my extensive EMDR training, I can even see infants to help them process any birth-related trauma they may be experiencing (or passing on to you in the form of not sleeping).
I work with kids from age 2 to 92!

What do you what from your therapy session? That’s what will happen. You are in control, and you are driving the car. I’m simply here with a road map and some suggestions of ways that we can arrive where you want to be. I make suggestions, you make decisions, and I will always advocate for you to make decisions that honor your authenticity and expand your agency.

I am hard-wired as a life-long learner, so I am constantly exploring and researching new things. I currently have taken certification and extensive training that allows me to practice EMDR, TraumaPlay, and Animal-Assisted Therapy. I also have completed certification programs in ADHD, TF-CBT (Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and additional trauma trainings through my master’s program. My current research is in Forensic Psychology, and I’m about to embark on a dissertation process exploring the policies of forensic interviews for children.

When the dogs are not in the office, they are either at home, outside playing, or at the vet’s getting their checkups! They love working and take their work time very seriously. If they have an off day, their special taxi will come and whisk them back home.

While I do love animals and would love to see your pet friends, I do ask that you limit your sharing to pictures. Due to insurance purposes, I can only allow the animals that are approved on my insurance policy in the office. Please bring in your photos or drawings of your pets, but please your animals at home to ensure their safety and the safety of the office.
